QA1 shocks are very pricey,i have them on my cobra.Your price sounds about right if you include the $80 shipping charge
jarmstro,
What setting do you have your rear shocks setup at for best results when racing?

If the track is really hooking I run it at 3 if the traction isn't as good I go down to 2
I get 1.64 60' times with the QA1's Hoosiers and JDM traction bars.
In this pic you can see how the rear squats and the front lifts

Since you ordered them already, it doesn't matter.
But you asked. If you paid Canadian dollars, you got a great deal. If you paid $860 (including shipping) in American dollars, then... oh well.
Four shocks from Ruslow are $650 dollars (mounting kit included). ($650 American dollars is equal to $1013.28 Canadian dollars as of 29Oct2002. Shipping is free if you are a NLOC member. I don't know if that applies to Canadians.

I've got the QA1's and I love them, worth every penny, totally adjustable for varied track conditions. I've heard they're also rebuildable, you get what you pay for, just my opinion, John H.
Thanks for reply guys!!!
Yes, I paid US$860 for 4 shocks from JDM.

Don thanks for your input
Do you have the QA1 adjustable struts as well? If so do you run them soft also?I have been having some wheel hop problems as of late due to the colder weather and was told to stiffen the rear end up alot with a much higher setting for the rear to help control it which it did not
and i see you guys are going alot softer in back and seems to be working out well for you guys.Have you tried your setting at 9 or higher to get a good comparison between the soft and stiffer setting? Thanks!
