I dont have a L, but you guys can help me. When I gap Denso Plugs, do I gap just from the top of the electrode to the bottom of the plug terminal. Just like the regular Motorcraft plugs. Do you have to worry about the U-Groove. Do you have to think about that when you gap them, or just not owrry about it. Please Help.

 

Just use a gapping tool

Gapping Denso's can be quite a job.
DO NOT PUT ""ANY PRESSURE"" on the electrode.
You must use a WIRE TYPE FEELER GUAGE.

Simply use the special tool built into the Feeler Guage and bend the tip out or in. DO NOT PRY AGAINST THE ELECTRODE.

 

i think he's talking about regular denso's.. not the denso irridiums...

gap them to the top of the electrode.. just like regular plugs.

 

No they are the Iridiums. I have it figured out, thanks for the help.
