Pauls Smooth Intake Tube

Has anyone installed his tube to JL's ram air cold airbox setup?
I was wondering if any modification was necessary to get it to fit.

Thanks,
Mark

No it is not bad.....I cut off like an inch of the tube. Then I had to cut off/level out the top of the air box because it was hitting underneath my hood. The smooth intake tube lifts the air box up quite a bit. Oh I also had to shave off some of the bracket for the radiator overflow tank.

Hope this helps......

I have PSP's Fast Air kit and I had to take the bracket off of the eng. stud to raise the 'box' about an inch for the MAF angle to fit the new smooth pipe. I put a larger diameter washer on the stud and ran the nylock nut back on so the washer would hold the bracket tight against the eng.
