If you live in the South, get red, if you live in the north, get red. LOL

If you like spending all your time washing your truck, then get black.
Black looks great only when it is clean.

In other words...

Get the colour the Lightning was born with,

And also the fastest colour

RED

Why do you care what everyone else thinks? Its your truck. Buy whatever color you want.

Yes it is my truck but

I am torn between getting red or black and would like to have others opinions. ISN'T that what this board is for? To communicate with other lightning owners.
Thanks to everyone that responded with an answer.

Thumbs up

Was behind a Grey one the other morning on the way in. It was dark out but as best I could tell it would only look really good out in the bright sunlight. Did'nt look anything special in the dark. Did'nt even notice it was a L til I noticed the big rear end/tires. Then looking closer I realized it was an 03 w/mfg plates.

I really like my silver as a Daily driver cause it hides the road scum. But if it was a garaged weekend bruiser? I'd definately go black.

WOT

Red being the only color to have.

Red period! Black isn't even a color, much less fast!!!! I can tell you that the dark gray is going to be worse than black to keep looking nice. I had a custom painted 76 Mustang Cobra wiith black diamond flair, Lincoln paint, on it. It was a dark Gray in the end. When it was washed and waxed it was beautiful but don't back it out of the driveway! My boss had a MarkIV painted that color and I lovedit. Trouble was he had someone was and gas it every day. I guess I wasn't paying attention.

Anyway, Red! Red! Red! Did I say Red?!?!?
