Boost Bypass

I'M SORRY, I KNOW THIS HAS BEEN DISCUSSED 100 TIMES.
BUT I HAVE A PROBLEM, I DISCONNECTED THE PLUG FOR THE BOOST CONTROL (CHEEP WAY) I'M STILL DUMPING BOOST WHEN SHIFTING BETWEEN 1 - 2 . IT DROPS DOWN TO 0 AND THEN BACK UP. THE BELT LOOKS PRETTY GOOD. I HAVE NO MODS YET EXCEPT FOR A K&N AIRFILTER. JUST WONDERING TO YOU HAVE TO DISCONNECT THE BATTERY WHEN DISCONNECTING THE PLUG TO RESET THE COMPUTER.

Some people don't like it when one uses all "CAPS", as it means one is shouting.

I have an 02' and both times I unplugged mine, I have had problems. First problem, the blower would soemtimes not work. Second problem, the truck shut off and the theft and check engine light came on. Both times I plugged it back in and everything was fine. I leave it plugged in now.

I heard that Ford has changed some things with the computer program in the 02's to make it harder for us to do mod's. Has anyone else heard this?

truthfully if your having all these problems doing it the cheap way just go to the hardware store and pay the 5 bucks and do it correctly, its better than having all these problems don't ya think?
