Hello, Everyone

I' am sure you all have heard about the wreck. Sorry I haven't posted in a couple of days the medicine they have running in me just makes me sleep. I guess the doctor told my Dad and Mom and other families members he is going to reduce the amount of Demoral in the I.V bag, and i don' t feel bad at all, thats until I try to move or someone trys to move me.
Well they anticipate another week ind I will be able to go home you can't imagine how I miss my dog and actually raid the fridge again instead of eating this hospital pablum. My Dad tells me I' am going to move home for a while until I' am to adapt to lifes changes in a wheelchair. I will keep you all posted on the progress.

pat - i am SHOCKED to hear how high your spirits are. i have never met you, however, i wish you the best and prey that the doctors are wrong in your diagnosis. i can only wish that i would handle a situation like yours with the same courage and strength that you show. you are in my familys prayers.

The way to keep your spirtis up is- Have a friend who has been there, I do.

 

This is one of those instances in life where it's hard to say the right things. I just pray for the best recovery for you possible and that the doctors are wrong. They were wrong with a family member so don't take their word as though they are God. It's good to hear you're still around. I'm sure your family feels the same way.

Glad to hear your spirits are strong as ever. You make us all proud to be one of your Lightning brothers.
I spent 21 days in the hosiptal with a ruptured appendix and I know what you mean when you say, "raid the fridge"
Everything you think of, tastes great!

Pat, I don't even know you, but I'm friggin' proud of the way you've kept your spirits up. Then again, if you've got a good dog, a stocked fridge, a computer w/internet connectivity, an L, and family by your side, you are THERE!!!

 

hey Pat good to hear from you. Hope your recovery gets off and going well. Its amazing to hear how positive of an attitude you have-i dont believe i could do that. I told my neighbor who is a pastor what happened and he said he will say a special healing prayer for you. Hang in there Pat we're pulling for ya. Through God all things are possible.

Good for you Pat! I'm glad you'll be home soon. Hospitals are wonderful places (contrary to popular belief) but home is where it's at. Keep up the great attitude buddy.
