Hey Man,

Just keep in mind that they make equipment that will allow you to drive a Lightning with only your hands until you can walk again.

My old girlfriend's brother was in a wheelchair and he really enjoyed driving around in his Thunderbird.

All the best to you...

Pat,

Guy down the street has to use a wheel chair. He also uses a Prowler and a Vette. There are things to look forward to, and I hope you can keep a positive outlook. I imagine sometimes that will be real hard, but hope can be powerful. They are just starting to do great things with nerve regeneration. Maybe they will be able to help you soon.

Good Luck,

Mark

Hey Pat,
I am sorry to hear about your pain and life change. None of us can fully understand where you are right now, we can only wish you well and let you know we care; and that your struggle does matter to us.

You will be faced with alot of really crappy moments, but please don't let moments break who you are. I don't know you, but your wonderful, strong being flows through your email and the world would be less for lossing that rare sprit you have.

If you ever need to talk with a stranger and vent some of your rage, please feel free to email me at TGolden382@aol.

You do matter and even now your strength and attitude reach out and add to the world.

Good luck!
Alvin

Life is what you make it and it is obvious you will make yours very rewarding. Stay positive, they are doing some incredible stuff with nerve regeneration. Look at Christopher Reeves' recent progress.
