Question How much have you spent?

I was wondering how much money you guys out there have put into your Lightnings? I'm wondering because as soon as my Mustang sells I am going to get one! Looking for some ideas of how much I am going to need to spend to get into the 12s in the 1/4 mile.

For me, it was $1210 to run a 12.62@107mph

Diablo chip $265
Denso plugs $90
4# pulley $255
homemade filter kit $50
Lakewood tracton bars $100
E.T. streets $250(used)
valve body $200

It was another $1105 to run a 12.31@109mph

traded '88 cavalier wagon for Mac catback
New E.T. streets $540(with new rims)
Extrude Honed upper $150
6# pulley $165
homemade elec fan kit $250

Switched to a different tuner $priceless

For 12's you just need a chip, filter, and pulley. You may need slicks to get there, but most can do it w/o.

hey Josh doesnt have that much room to talk, all you need is to do some interior stuff and your right with VINNIE! well maybe not RIGHT there, but you know stereo system and some billet accessories....... oh and one more exterior mod the 20's, but i know how you will spend thousands on performance mods and say that you didnt even want to pay what those 18's in chrome cost.

anyway, just pulling your chain. your bling blinging too.
