dodge buzz

If you are interested in future Dodge, Jeep, Chrysler, etc. products I know the site to visit. I attached the link to the SRT-10 latest info.
Dodge Buzz
The site has the specs on new models way before they are released to the public. I get a discount on DC vehicles so I have been looking at the site for several years. They are hardly ever wrong. They hope the price of the SRT-10 will be around $40K. "Hope" is the key word. Still no leaks on the price yet.

From the stats for the new SRT-4 Neon, It's going to be putting the SVT Focus to shame.............It'll actually be competition for the WRX and the like............until of course the WRX STi and Lancer EVO show up

talk about rice rockets!!!!! I'd love to have any of those as a daily driver!!

Sorry but the SRT-4 will be slower than the WRX and nowhere near the quality of a Focus or WRX. Neons are not only goofy looking, they are a pile of crap. With one of those you will get to know the service writer at the dealer very well. And yes I have driven a neon. I would take the slower SVT Focus anyday. Just my experience.

The 2003 Dodge Neon R/T is supposed to be able to smoke a WRX, SVT Focus, and yes... as much as I've read, the power to weight ratio could allow it to take even our beloved Lightnings.

Now, don't pull that trigger just yet fellas... This is all Turbo, Import-Tuner, Sport Compact Car magazine hype.

Let us hope its false information.

Is it just me........ or does that look pretty damned good? At 40k, that thing is already looking the way most of us are trying to make our trucks look. Wheels, tonneau, hood, rollpan,......... By the time I get to where the SRT-10 pictured here is, I'll have over 40k in the truck.

I read a recent article that mentioned 39-40K for the rt/10. I would rather drop 7K-8K in mods for the L than pay the price for the mopar.

Actually its not a bad concept car. But it will likely end up with 20" max wheels and a sticker price closer to $50K. Hard to justify that, at least at a normal human income level.

I like the look, its tough and does have a lot of touches taken from the Lightning, plus a lot of the popular appearance mods (wheels, fuel door, hood scoop). Only issue is that its a Dodge, not the highest quality brand in existence...

I think they look sweeet.. Plus I like the 6 speed Viper transmission.
Although I do like the L's just have always liked ford but I think if the SRT is gonna be around 40K then it might be worth the extra money for it. I was going to take some pics of my friends L he wrecked it not to long ago.. tried to take a cornor at 95 got in the grass to much freaked out and pulled the wheel he slammed into a rock wall at 95 then turned it to the right to go down a imbankment.. so sad.. now he dont even want to think about the L;s anymore after almost costing his life.. so he bought a S/C Harley Ford lol

At least in that photo, it's not just you. Just imagine that photo with a 2 or 3" drop.

I will need to see more to make a final decision. 3/4 shots are always flattering. I love the looks of the L, for instance, but a side profile shot is just plain ugly. Now move around and take a front or rear 3/4 shot--presto! Great looking truck.

BTW, I absolutely love the pictured wheels. Why can't anyone make something that tasteful for the L? All we get is ghetto-ready wheels far too gaudy for my tastes.

Ford will be revising the SVT Focus with a turbo charged motor last i heard. If its based on the Cosworth Motor, that Focus is going to be a nasty little bastard. Focus is already light years ahead of the Neon as it comes standard with the 13 Inch brakes, suspension and 6 speed. All they have to do is throw in that nasty engine and their done. Of course, that would probably raise the price up to $20K.

That ain't all they'd have to do to finish it. They'd need to convert it to AWD or RWD and then it'd be done. Wrong-wheel-drive is not an option.
