I Need Advice from the Lowering MASTERS!
ok this will be my final question about lowering my L, i was convinced on getting the eibach 1/1.5 kit cause i wanted a little better look and a little better ride. but now i keep seeing the eibach/belltech 1/2, i've measured my wheel well gap like 5 times today to see if i need that extra .5' well do I? i know that if in doubt go LOWER! but i do have to drive it in Michigan weather, but i am getting the snow tire package 16' w/ 235/70 michilen artic alpines.....
what do you suggest 1/1.5 or 1/2? i want it to still look higher in the back maybe, or maybe i could go completely even.... i'm always looking at your truck Vinnie but you have 20's so it's kinda hard to figure out. and what is the best ride quality i can accomplish?
what ever you guys say, im gonna go do.

a 1/2 kit is still pretty high up in the air for driving with snow tires. Just make sure you don't go plowing with it and you'll be ok. Snow tires are a big help for L's.
I would do it even with a 3/4 kit that I have on my truck, but not with fresh 12 inches of snow on the ground.
Plus changing the rear shavckles in back is so easy you can raise the back for the winter if you have too. and they make spring spaces for the front that would give you another 1/2 inch for nasty days.
lower the better
