Saw that pic of the piaa fog light conversion you did. How tricky was that, any cracking problems, what color light does that give off?

 

It was pretty easy. They are PIAA 959 lower mount lights. They are an 85watt projector fog light. They give off a yellow light. They are not a long range driving light. I have a set a PIAA 510's for that. I had to do a little Dremel work to the factory mounting location. None of which is visible and none of it affected going back to stock. I then took apart the factory lights to unplug the wiring pig-tail. I installed the factory pig-tail on to the PIAA lights so the plug into the factory wiring. I had to enlarge the factory mounting hole (99-00) to accomodate the larger PIAA mounting stud. That's about it.

Next up is installing the PIAA 510's into the outside corners of the lower grill
