Love the Lightning but I've had three since 1999 and have been thinking about getting something a little more practical. Anyone here trade for a WRX? If so, impressions?

 

I have a buddy with 1 and i whould much rather have my L.
He has had problems from the start with the awd.

 

Traded mine for an 03 Cobra. That was a good way to go, I still got the supercharger wine. I wouldn't go to a WRX because I'm sure the Lightning feels and is way faster. I have been in a WRX and driven one and you really have to work hard to get the thing going fast. Just my .02.

 

Im with Jeff. I'd trade the L for an 03 Cobra... but im not a fan of the WRX. Drove one and wasn't that impressed.

If money were no object I would already be driving a Cobra . Has anyone on this board actually traded their L for a WRX?

 

WRX's are trendy!!!!!!!!! Don't do it. Those cars will never be worth anything there are way to many around. The local dealership in town has 25+. Ridiculous. Keep the lightning buy a $500-1000 1980's 4x4 winter beater. -Mat-

 

Not me, but I have driven my cousin's WRX. I'll keep the L thank you.
