Great time at the Pavilions and Phoenix cruise tonight

It was so great being out there with an actual group of SVT vehicles. Had about 15 Cobras and 15 Ls show up. Big, huge thanks to the SVTOA gang for putting this into motion. Can't wait for the next get together.

Wes,
It was great seeing you again. It's been too long.

Margie and Neil,
You've become my local Lightning family. Thanks

Steph and Joe,
Sorry that the security guy threw us out hahaha Some people just should never be given authority, even if it is a big golden arch on his shirt to signify his McDonalds position of hierarchy. For those of you who missed the drama, silly me, I moved a few cones so Joe and Steph had a place to park their 02 and some kid ran up on them and subsequently on me walky talky in hand to make it very clear he was not a force to be reckoned with. Words were exchanged, gauntlets were thrown, it was not a pretty site. And to think I was just commenting tonight that drama follows JOEY around everywhere. haha

The cruise on Central was awesome. Can't believe how many people were just perched to watch the cruise up and down the street. Felt like we were in a parade. Very cool.

Can't wait to get together again.

See y'all soon.

CA

Hey WhitelightningSVTgirl do people still cruise Central on Saturday night? When i attended the Uof A back in the late '70's, we used to drive up to Phoenix for Saturday night cruise. It was wall to wall hotrods on Central on Sat. night. There where hundreds and hundreds of cars. It was unbelievable!!Is is still like that?

Now I dig you even more, my Lightning Sister
We could use an SVT Girl like you in NY.

Sounds like you and everyone had a great time, wish we could get a bunch of SVT's together around here like that.

Rob, I think on the 27th there's supposed to be a cruise to Bear Mountain with the LISVTOA group.

Gatey,
Ronald McDonald had it coming...

Rob,
I swear I didn't provoke it....this time

Dave,
I guess they have cracked down on cruising Central, but last night happened to be 1 of 2 nights a year they allow it and the turn out was huge. There were so many nice cars and truck.

Did anybody else see that giant boat? or was it just me? There was a big rusted out boat, bout 10 feet high and 30 feet long...on wheels. The guy was actually driving it down Central...

I'm almost positive I saw it. But then when I remembered it I couldn't figure out why it wasn't more interesting to me at the time... :\

Any SVT owner can show. I'll keep you posted on the details as I get them.

I think the cruise thur Bear mountain may involve some brisk driving thru the twisties.

Smile Pavillions

CA,
I noticed you didn't leave when he threw you out..... I can't believe you can't get along with Ronald McDonald. I'm going to get you a shirt that says 'does not play well with others'.

Next time we go to Pavillions, I'll buy you a Happy Meal.

Yeah, those giant red shoes intimidated the hell outta me.

If they have the Barbie happy meals, I'll take a Hot wheels.
