How to get more drop in the rear.

I have the ground force 1/2 drop kit. i think the front was lowered a little more then 1" though from the looks of it. more like 1.5-2. Anyway, I was hoping that since the drop was supposed to be 1" in the front and 2" in the back the the truck would sit level, but it doesnt. How can I lower my truck just a LITTLE bit more in the rear?

Talking free lowering!

You can have 100lbs sand bag in the bed.....that'll lower a LITTLE bit more in the rear........ just joking...

Seriously...I have same problem...maybe get the adjustable shocks? or slam shock?

What about lowering blocks.Like the old school ones that go between the rear end and the leaf springs?

Front hangers will give you another 1 - 3" inches of drop. I would suggest not using lowering blocks because the increased distance between the axle and the springs will exaggerate the axle wrapping problem on the launch.

Cool

What about getting 2" lowering leaf springs from Hotchkis, and then using the middle bolt of the shackle. This would give you approximately 3" inches of drop in the rear, and you wouldn't have to fight with removing the old hangers.

Does anyone know of another source for lowering leaf springs other than Hotchkis?

You could always remove one of the leafs from the stock leaf spring. I can't say how good it would ride or handle, but it might work.

As far as lowering blocks go, I don't think they will work for our suspension. Our leaf spring mounts above the axle. You wouldn't want to use blocks on an L even if it would work...
