I went 2 a used car lot today 2 look at a 1996 cobra the
guy had on his lot.
He comes out and says nice truck, I say thanks of course.
Then he ask me how it runs. I just said pretty dang good
for a 4900lb beast.

Well my stang will kill your truck. I was thinking he was talking about the cobra, but he is talking about this blue v6 2001
model parked by the front of his office.
Then he tells me it runs in the 10s in the quarter mile Lmao!!!
The car is a v6 with no nos nos, blower, or rear end gears. also
a auto trany in it.
I just laughed and drove off.

You missed an easy score. You should have raced him in the V6 for the title to the Cobra. Hell raced him in the Cobra. You still would have wooped his *** with the Lightning. And would have gotten the Cobra for free.
