Valve Lifter Noise

There is a slight noise coming from the driver side. It sounds like a lifter tapping but it dosen't get louder when I give it gas. It dose it every time i drive it but I don't hear it above 65 mph. Any Ideas?

I've been fighting a drivers side tick for a while. Replaced the exhaust gaskets, retightened sparkplugs, and even replaced the lifters (hydraulic lash adjusters). The tick is still there. I think maybe I have a clogged oil gallery going to one of the lifters. Wish I would have checked that when I had it apart the first time. Anyway my advice would be take it to the dealer if it's still under warranty. If not try what I did, maybe you'll be luckier than me.

Oh man, the awfuly ticking sound. I had one with the L and it happened to be the spark plug, to bad i didn't know it at the time. Before I knew what it was, the spark plug was shot. Now the L is sitting in the garage waiting for the engine to be taken out for repair. My advice is to take it in right away or tighten the plugs. You could be lucky and it could just be an exhaust leak or something minor.
