That looks like a Vacuum cleaner attachment.

Rob: I'm into 'engineering' up a mod and trying something different but I don't think this is going to work very well. I think the tubing is too long and has to maketoo many turns and that may lead to two problems. One, picking up heat all along the way and a loss of air velocity.

Good luck and I hope I'm all wet..........................

here is my setup

I called Sal and got the metal part(box) from his Fresh Air Kit since I use a 3 inch hose.

Rob - If I were you I would have the hose feed the filter by putting it directly under the air filter.

I was thinking about making some type of setup to rush air to my open air filter...

Looks great! Always good to see new custom designs, made with hard work and good construction.

But correct me if im wrong, someone once told me true "ram air" only showed signs of increase when traveling over 125mph?? I remember it being a guy that raced motorcycles, and was comenting on the air feed ducts on a Honda... Dunno, but your and Don's setup does have the "COOL" factor!

Hey Krix

When I hook my scanner I notice a quick decrease in air intake temps as soon as I get over 20-30 mph. Thats what I really want in my setup.

By the way here is a pic of the PSP Fresh Air box that I use with my setup. I now have a black hose replacing the silver hose.

Don,

That is one awesome Supercharger you got there, "REAL NICE".
I tried 4" and it wouldn't work out, I may try and do it over in 3".
And I agree with you 100% about feeding it underneath the filter.
A matter of fact I got a 8" x 8" x 8" Galvanized Steel box today at work "for free" Now I just have to modify it, and paint it.
I may even add a second hose, who knows ???

Krix, I got to believe any extra cool air "being pushed in" will help the cause.

Thanks everyone for some more great idea's

Rob
