Sorry to hear bout the scratch, sounds like you did the right thing. Now had that been some punk *** in a Ricer saying "HEY MAN, IT'S ONLY A SCRATCH" I think the results would have been differant.

At least you got to see the person that scratched your truck. I was at Home Depot picking up some supplies, when i came out there was a scratch on my bed cover that started on the lip right above the tailgate and wrapped around on top about 12 inches and about 1/4 inch wide. No note, no sorry, no tears(except mine maybe), just a big F-YOU, and a $550+ paint job bill.

Thanks for the Happy Birthdays and praise. I'm a little embarrassed. I don't think many people, in the same situation, would have been able to do anything other than what I did. Besides..... it was only a scratch.

Where do you plan on getting that scratch repaired? I have a similar scratch on my fender that's bugging me as well and looking for a good place locally....
