lingenfelter

well i am sure all of you know what a lingenfelter corvette is, but do you know the stats? they are rediculous.
0-30 = .83 seconds
0-60 = 1.8 seconds
1/4 mile = 9.24 seconds

all that can be yours for the small price of $165,000. haha.

nice car tho, but too much money. Just figured id let everyone know what it can do.

He also does some magic on the chevy pickup. Its a 60K option to a 30K pickup. But it will beat a Lightning thats stock

Too much money? You gotta be kiddin'? Those #'s are quicker than a $4 million F1 car. Sounds like a bargain to me.

Your right. But....... a millionaire's bargain is still too steep for me. If you can afford it, it can't be beat for 5 times the money anywhere. And a 3 year/36,000 mile warranty to boot.

Hold On here! Let's get realistic. A modern day F1 car will go 0-100-0 in about 7.5-8.0 sec (except the Minardi, which will still kick the Ligenfelter's a$$ anyday) depending on gearing. Implying that the Ligenfelter is faster is GROSSLY mis-leading. I'm not taking anything away from it as it is an extremely fast vehicle, but in a real race of ANY kind it would not be fair. Remember, F1 teams have HUGE sums of money at their disposal up to $350 million PER YEAR!

The Camaro in my sig hits 60 in less than a second. By the way, a Mallet tuned 'Vette will wax a Lingenfelter 'Vette in any competition...how does 149 in the 1/4 out of a daily driver sound? Lingenfelters are still very cool though

Apparently not any competition.
Supercar Challenge

I guess it really depends on the package you pay for. There are different levels of performance to be had.

I stand corrected. Check out Chuck Mallets latest and greatest beast:

Over 1G in the turns on street tires, 700rwhp, 149 in the 1/4, 220mph on the street, and a daily driver. D@mn I'm jealous.

Yea right, 0 to 60 in less than 1 second. My L runs the 1/4 in under 3! LOL

Top Fuel dragsters run 0 to 60 in .5x seconds. That takes 5,000-6,000 HP

If you fall off of a cliff it will take 3 seconds to hit 60.

That's almost the 5 G's of hitting the Fitch Barrier system!

It's not impossible, just not very likely that you are running around 3,000 HP in that car.
