SCCA in Kentucky! This weekend! Read more...

Hey guys,

Well if you haven't read the posts yet, the CKR SCCA (central kentucky region) scca is hosting the regional event at Commonwealth stadium tomarrow and sunday. We will be out there at 10am for drivers meeting and then racing all day. Should be a very good day for it, and we have 175 cars entered. Amoung those would be SVT_KY and Myself. I 'think' there are a few other lightnings entered in the event.

Anyways I'll have the big ole tent and grill out there, soo stop on by if your in the area. Be nice to meet a few more of you guys.

What a BLAST !!! The course was longer than
anything I've run yet. And the group was terrific.
Burgers and Breakfasts by Brandon !!!

I would post the results, but the Lexington Herald Leader
is doing an article on the Race next June and we can't
divulge the times ... suffice to say that the Lightnings
were running about 9 seconds off the pace ...

Have y'all ever seen a F1 Ford open wheeled car run? The
fastest time of the day was set by this little 50 HP car ...
SWEET !!!!

SVT_KT,
Yeh I liked it after reading all the bs about the supermarket rag secrecy. Were #1 and #2 setup for auto-x? Those are some close results. Anybody get any digipics?

Svt_ky you left out they are setup to please the crowds and nicknamed 'the red streaks' =)

that .006 is BS, i think someone typed it in wrong or something =) Was definitly a good time though, I am sure it was the good company.

Think i am gonna rig something up with my camcorder for the next event, might make for interesting viewing.
