God forbid, there are over 15,000 Lightnings out there now and someone is bound to do smoothies. Dont forget the other 300,000 F150's out there.
Infact, here in CA, theres a black lightning running around with bluish/purple ghost flames, SMOOTHED steps and a rollpan. Does that mean you copied him? His was done over two years ago.
Get over it man. You have a nice truck but many people are able to think of the same mods.

copy cats huh, I had a drop kit before you? so did you copy from me after you told me that would make my truck slower.
Allot of people had allot mods on there truck WAY before you did rob, calm down man.
you coppied off my ss mirrors that I had pretty much before any L owner I knew on here.
you copied off rich with the bucket seat mod and now the roll pan mod too and the side steps.
honestly your truck isn't that orginal by any means.
Its really really nice looking but you need to take a chill pill and get layed cause you can really be an A$$ sometimes and its not cool.

Sorry guys.Gotta disagree.I do not think there is a nut or bolt that has not been altered or cleaned or something in one way or another.
I have never seen the truck in person(I will at Fords of E-town) ,but from talking to people who have seen it they are in awe of it.You do not get that from just bolt-ons.Rob must be doing something right.

You are what I would call a unique individual as we all are here on the site. You wash your truck today, Vinnie drives thru a parking lot and gets muddy water splashed on his fender,(sorry Vinnie, I will right over and polish that for you =) and I chose to install my BEDRUG today.
We are all in this together here. I am the one here that started plastic chrome plating OEM headlight switch ***** for ME. Now everyone wants to know where, how, how much?
This is what makes YOUR F 150 UNIQUE from the guy at the carwash. I simply made an original post here to compliment you and the choice of aftermarket rear roll pan. As the others mentioned, you either have a pro taking your photo shoots or you are quite the guy with a camera, paintbrush, or a weekend project here.
All said here, we are simply a group here online and in our own local town, trying to make EACH AND EVERYONE'S OWN TRUCK

If I offended anyone here, I am sorry. In today's world, in the aftermarket industry, when you see something you like, you go for it. When you open a magazine, see something online as for example right here in this post, you like it or you don't.

Take a look at this picture closely. Look at the date.
That's the truck I had before my current ride. I've been customizing Lightning's since I bought the red one in May of '99 and a few Mustangs before that. You picked up a phone and ordered parts from a catolog. You have a descent truck Joe but don't forget that a short while ago you had a signature that read " Pound for pound the baddest ride around " I've seen your truck close up and it's pretty damn far from that statement bro.
The bug up my a$$ was about a few folks wanting to copy the orange paint job on the hood. I don't care about copying the scheme because Pro-Glass has done a few trucks with the same scheme BUT if you're going to copy it just paint it something different, OK ??? Is that a lot to ask.
As far as being a run of the mill truck I'll be at the Fords @ Englishtown event in a few weeks and the Vinny's there can let you all know if it's just a bunch of catolog parts cobbled together.

I am trying to be different, everything that goes on your truck has to look good on mine too. Except I don't have shiny black truck, just a dull Silver truck. Should have bought that black on at the dealer.

man, some tension in this tread Rob you've got an awsome truck bro, one of the nicest looking L's on this board IMO along with quite a few other guys. But isn't this board for sharing stuff? Whats the big deal if a few guys here and there really like one of your ideas and do it on their truck. its not like there's all these people on here trying to make exact replicas of your truck. If you don't want anybody to have any of the same mods as you, why don't you just lock it up in your garage and never let it see the light of day again? I love looking at pics of your truck when ya post em. Every time i see them, you've added something new and awsome to it, please don't stop sharing pics of your truck just because a few people like your ideas and put them on their own vehicles and personalize them their own way.
