I get off work and am heading home when I start hearing a noise under the hood, when I get home I pop the hood and start looking for whats making the noise, it looks as if the bearing has gone bad in the idler pulley, the one just above the power steering pump, everything was fine no noises or nothing and this thing decides to go bad. This totally sucks, now I have to make an appointment to take it in to the dealer. The dealer I use is not an SVT dealer but they do good work, and have never given me any problems about any of the mods on my truck.
Are they suposed to give me a loaner when I take my truck in even though there not an SVT dealer?.

They're supposed to give you a loaner, even if they're not an SVT dealer. They're also supposed to report your mods, but they haven't done that either. I'd be happy just to have found a mod friendly dealer and leave it at that. No use potentially wrecking an excellent relationship, over a *****ty Focus that probably smells like open @ss anyway!

 

My loaner was sable. HeHe. I had some fun beating that thing. Just ask nicely for one if you really need it. If they so no I would leave it at that. I would rather have a mod friendly dealer then a loaner personally. Goodluck. -Mat-
