hypertech power programmers
whats the deal with these? They claim like 30 horse (obviously an overstatement). Are they a rip-off? Do they only work well with chips, or are they an alternative to chips so you don't void the warranty?

i would not suggest not using them. the last guy i heard the used one blew his engine the same day. maybe the guy didnt know what he was doing but still...i would say leave the tuning to the pros....
