Favorite Road

I'm shure everyone has a certain road that they really enjoy driving on.

Starts at lower pic, left corner.

For me, its this old highway out side of town. They put a brand new road a little way's away, so the old road is still left, and is in great condition. The only thing, its now a county road, and has a 35mph speed limit. When you leave town (start of red, lower left corner) you can WOT, spin into 2nd gear, hit 80, slow down a bit to around 60, hit the right hand corner, when it starts to turn left, thier is a nice little hop, then round the left corner at about 65, then enter the right and slowly ease into it, hit 80, then WOT and leave the corner. As you approach the little hill (just before the map runs out, bye the round dot on top map) you can hit 135-140, and you still have some road left. As you enter the little left-right, then left, you can make them about 50-60 then thier is a stop sign. Then turn around, and do it the other way.

I got the map at HERE

The best drive I ever have had in my life was on the roads surrounding the GM Proving Grounds near where I live.... I don't know what the roads are called, I'm even blanking on the name of the city because I hardly ever go there, but it even makes my Contour feel sporty and fast and fun, I could only imagine what any car with some real power would feel like on those roads. Hot summer day.... windows down.... wind in my hair.... long nicely paved roads with trees all around.... one of my best memories from this summer... even turned the radio off just to listen to my contour. Other than that there is this great road in Howell... long and straight with no one ever on it, LOVE driving that road too, yeah, I'm drawing a blank on that name too... it's been awhile since I have been home with a chance to actually drive... can't wait for this weekend to go home to my car! (Oh, and my family, friends, and boyfriend)

Highway 33, Ojai, CA

This is my favorite road. I haven't taken the truck on it yet, but I used to take my motorcycle on it a few times a month when I lived in that area.

Highway 33, Ojai, CA

My favorite road is highway 33 north of there. Zoom in 1-3 notches after you re-center the map, it only gets better the higher the resolution!
