I used Liquid Glass... but thats just my personal preference. Everyone has their own opinions on polish's.

yeah, liquid glass is definately a good polish for shining up painted pieces after wetsanding

I'm hoping to do my radiator cover eventually

and btw, looks awsome mecca!!

Im starting to wonder if I should have been using wax instead of polish after wetsanding... I mean, the pieces do shine, but its not a deep mirror like finish...

you can wax over the liquid glass, just can't glass over wax. it should turn out nicely when you're done

I went over the pieces with some wax. They look 100x's better now... new pics!





The wax definitely makes the pieces look a hellofa lot better!

Looks great!

i don't think you would have gotten very far with polishing with just wax, but the LG for polishing and the wax afterwards looks great

On the drivers side how do the mirror thing comw out,already sanded the passenger side and want to do the driver side tonight

MASVT:

The mirror piece has 2 clips on the inside. It pushes up, not down to get it out.

SmokinSVT:

Its Dupli-Color primer, paint, and clearcoat. The only store I could find around me that carried it was Wal-Mart. Go to www.dupli-color.com and look at what other stores carry it.
