I was at the bank today and I saw a silver 2000 L with chrome factory wheels, cowl hood and an awesome purple flame job, the flames turned into lion heads on the doors, it was awesome so I wait out there for the guy, he comes out like 5 mins later. I said to him "nice truck, love the flames, who did them". He replies "i did", jumped in his truck, lit a cigarette, rolled the window up and drove off. what a di@k, guys like that should not even own lightnings, that was the first time I encountered someone like that that owned an L, most owners are cool as all hell like all you guys!! have any of u ever met a L owner that was an a$$??

he probably was the guy that did the flame job. although he was driving the costomers truck and was pissed that you complimented it and not his 87 isuzu trooper.

You didn't say whether you were in your truck or not.
If you weren't in your truck maybe he just thought you were a regular person and didn't know you were special.

Well I have first hand experience that girls in lightnings just drive them around because they "look pretty in them". I talked to these two girls when i was in my buddies camaro SS and asked if they wanted to race-- they said that it was their boyfriend's ....

Also my sister takes out my dad's lightning and all she does is drive it like a pinto...

So the question is WhiteLightninSVTGirl -- do you drive it around to look pretty in?

Next time you're in Nashville and see my Lightning driven by my wife, ask if she'll race. She'll take it up to 140+ as long as my daughter isn't in it.

 

i know what your saying. i went to a car show last weekend, and i saw another guy with a 00 HD, same as mine. I went to talk to him when he was still sitting in his truck waiting for the line to move up so he could park, and i said hey and told him i have a 00 HD also parked down the next row, all he said was yeah and pulled off another d!c khead. Usually other guys with HD's will come up to my truck at shows when i'm with it and start talking, this guy was just being an @$$. He had an awsome system too and i wanted to ask him where he got the window engraved, but didn't bother to talk to him after that.
