Unhappy Sad Day

Well, today my lightning loses her little sister. i put my 66' mustang in the paper today and have already had 4 people call and 1 stop over. the guy who stopped by said he would be back later today with cash.

I hate to get rid of her, but i want some new toys and dont really have the garage space. (even the new tahoe has to sit outside) we're looking at getting a couple of street bikes and a pair of quads.

the mustang has been sitting for almost a year and i think i would have more fun with something new. i plan on buying another classic one day, but for now ive got a bug in my a$$ for some wind in my face.

Chris,

Man, that was quick! I've never had that much luck, must have been a really nice Mustang.

Unhappy

Sorry to here that man. I know how yo feel. I still have my first car (65 mustang GT vert) and I want to get rid of him. But my wife and my dad say hell no. It is restored, and just too classic for my taste. Oh well, hope you have fun with your new toys!

Sup Chris,

Hey this is Mike, if that one doesnt work out I know a guy who might be selling his black limited edition as well. Those raptors are sweet

I tried to see if I could get you a better hook up at my shop but EVERY raptor we get is gone at retail within a week so there is no incentive for the boss to give them away... BUt hey they are going to let me demo one of the cannondale dirt bikes, that will be sweet

The capitalist in me says that means you are NOT pricing it high enough...

well, the first one i sold was my 96' rodeo. it had 83,000 miles on it and the interior was pretty beat up. i got 7k for it. ( i was thrilled!!)

i really dont want to disclose what the mustang went for, im still pretty sad to see it go.

Sad to hear about the loss, but glad you were able to sell it quick. We've had things in the paper for a while, then once they were out, the thing sold the next day just sitting in front of the store.

I think that you defiently need to get a few more mods for the L, just to help drown out the sorrow of your loss.

I have to agree with you, classic cars are nice, but, a modded L is far superior in every way, above average style, handling, power...
