New Cover

I can't remember who here advised me to do so, damn short term memory loss is kicking in again, but whoever you were "THANKS".
I recieved my new California (storm weave) Car Company cover yesterday. At first I was upset as I thought they forgot to embordery the "Quik Trk" on the duffel bag like I had asked them to. After I calmed down and put the cover on the truck, I noticed that right across the front in the middle (grill area) in big bold black letters against the gray blackground it says " QUIK TRK"
which happens to be my liscense plate number also. Okay, now were getting happier.
The cover is by far one of the best I have ever owned, and with all the old 50's and 60's cars and trucks I have restored and shown over the years, I have seen many.
The only thing I really don't like is that I have to remove the radio antenna to install the cover, which leads into the second reason I am trying to type this at work before my Manager sticks his head in my door.
Once I had the antenna off, I noticed how much more "sleek" the Lightning looks without it,. Anyone else notice this?
And last but not least, has anyone cut down, or installed a shorter antenna, or even removed theirs permenantly?

Marc

Yea Soap I know. After I sent that I was reading some of the other posts and ran across your reply. The older I get, the more
I seem to miss.

I have a little tree growing in the back yard, I just pull the "leaves" off when I need a little cash!
