If I buy a new 90mm Maf for my 99L, will my old rubber boot fit over the new maf or do I need to replace that too?

a new boot comes with a new MAF sensor

 

it depends on where you buy the MAF, but a new boot doesn't automatically come with the sensor. If you are careful, you can stretch the 80mm rubber boot to fit over a 90mm meter, but it is much easier just to buy the boot with the meter.
