Question Change CXN1 to CUX2

What is involved in switching pcms? I'm thinking about buying a cux2 pcm and using it in place of my stock cxn1.

Reprogram for PATS?
same wire harness?

I have a chip to take care of the 90mm mass air and gears.

Is there anything else I should be aware of?

Why not go over to the Chips board and ask Mike Troyer?
I have had this discussion with him, but can not remember the
particulars. Damn, short term memory loss.
What were you saying again easterisland ?

CUX1 to CUX2 is a software upgrade done by flashing the cpu if Im not mistaken and was done as part of the regular maintence on my truck by my dealer. I recall this because I had to get my aftermarket chip reburned. I do not belive there is any need to buy another cpu. Cux1 to Cux 2 is a flashable upgrade. It may very well only be minor changes.

Since we are on the chip subject and I don't mean
to sway from your topic easterisland. But can you
run a cux1 chip on cux2 pcm?
