Stuck at 12.9!!!!!!

Just get home from a day at the track. I am very diszppointed with the times achieved today. Thentruck was very inconsisitent, ranging from 103-106 mph & 12.9 - 13.1With my mods, I shoulf be aroungd 12.5 -12.6. ? Today's times are as follows:

12.949 @ 103.92 60' 1.876
13.084 @ 105.62 60' 1.874
12.974 @ 106.31 60' 1.915
13.111 @ 106.69 60' 1.974

With the he?? should I do now? I am running Hoosier Quick Time Pro's too.

Thanks,

Need some more info... What were your 60ft's? What was the weather like? Were you spinning off the line?

Looks like you have good power on the top end, you need to work on getting those 60 ft. times better. How are you launching? The 106 trap speeds are good for mid 12 et's if you launch it right!
I was pulling 12.9's @ 106 with just a JDM warm weather program, K&N, and 2 lb. pulley as my only mods. My 60 ft. times were 1.914(on F1's), 1/8 mile was 8.329 @ 85.15 mph. With my current mods she's pulling 12.2's @ 111!! The temp. has alot to do with how these trucks run also. High temps. just seem to kill mine, but when it gets in the mid 60's she's a beast. Work on that launch and you'll get those mid 12's!

You definately have the MPH(106) but your 60 ft. leave a lot of room for improved times. You need from 1.75 to 1.83 at least.
A couple questions?
1.Do you race often? Experience does count
2.Are you doing a big burnout with the hoosiers?
3.Are you running any kind of race gas?( call JDM to see if you can on your program)
4.What is the weight of the truck with you in it?
5.Have you ever dynoed?

These are just starting points. You will get there.

Your the 5th person in two days that was way off INCLUDING ME with our runs. I made 2 passes yesterday, my 60's were 1.9 both times and I was 13.3 + 13.4 at 101 MPH both times. Mine was cutting down or starving for gas 3/4 down the track both runs ???
I have to figure that out before my next run. I just ordered some Lowering Shackles, traction control springs, and have a new chip with a race program on the way this week. I ran on bald F-1's.
It was my 1st 1/4 try, and I was using my safe street program.

I'll be going back in a few weeks for the 12's

Get to the track early, let the truck cool down as much as possible, do you put a towel over the intake and ice down the truck?? A cool truck is a faster truck.

Put a few gallons of UNLEADED race fuel in your truck, get some weight off your truck and once you get some cooler air your times will get better. My truck weight 4650 with me in it, right there is 2 tenths.

Your times are off a little, but concidering the weight of your truck it isn't as bad as you think. Also you have only been to the track 2 times, it takes a while to learn how to get the most out of these trucks.
