Where to look for winter wheels?
I'm starting to look for some winter rims/tires for my truck. I've been looking in the classifieds throughout the summer, but everybody that is selling seems to be 2000+ miles away. I just did a search on ebay for 'F150 wheels' and it didn't find much. Where else should I look for some cheap wheels for my truck?

Here's what I posted 3 winters ago:

I installed 4 Bridgestone Winter Dueler (“the Blizzak for light trucks”) tires on my Lightning, size 225/75R-16 to keep the tire diameter as close to the original 295/45-18 as possible. The Tirerack (www.tirerack.com) had some Navigator cast aluminum take-off wheels that were only ~$5 more per wheel than the steel wheels, so I got them. No hubcaps were included. Total cost mounted, balanced and shipped UPS 2nd day: $628.
I made a 2x8 treated lumber 'crib' for the bed and loaded in 5 - 80 pound bags of salt. With the A.R.E. lid and a bed liner I figure the total added weight at ~550 pounds.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
They're still working well with ~30,000 miles on them. Weight in bed helps a lot. Narrow tire cuts snow well, but put an egg under your throttle foot as the rears spin easily! When it gets real slippery, put the trans in '2' (good for up to ~40 MPH) to keep wheel spin to a minimum.

In Memphis we really don't get much snow. Last year it was about 36hours worth and I had no problems in the Mustang GT that day.
So, do you think I'll be alright with the stock tires/wheels if I am simply carefull durring the times that there is ice on the road?
