Question L cd player and pc made cd's?

hi all, do the stock l cd players ,have an issue with cd's you burn on your pc?
The reason i ask is when i play my mpg burnt memorex or imation cd's via my easy cd creator platinum, they always skip?
they will play but the slightest bump and they skip/
is this due to the cd's themselves being thinner than factory,or cd's you buy with bands already on them?
or is it due to the L cd player it's self?
thanks for any input.

You may want to try using TDK media. Also, try burning those CD's at a slower speed. Lastly, dont OVERBURN your cd's if you plan to use them in car/home audio players. Only CD-R/CD+RW drives can read 70+ overburn sectors. Thats generally the skipping you will hear.

I use the same software "Easy CD Creator 5.0 Platinum"
and only listen to my burned CD's. Other than one crappy cd
that skips, I'm fine. By the way these multi colored cheap-o Blank CDR's have giving me trouble before in two other vehicles so I know it's crappy cheap disc's. USE GOOD ONES, I DO NOW WITH NO TROUBLE.
