There is no drone at higher cruising speeds at all. The only time you really hear it bark is when you push the loud peddle

I went from a Bassani cat-back to the JDM Silver Bullet and my wife absolutely hates it. There is significantly more cabin drone with the JDM than the Bassani (especially in the passenger seat - which is where I rode after listening to her complain about it). It doesn't bother me at all but I rarely if ever drive the truck either - wouldn't be my first choice for trips with extended 65-85 mph cruising.

I've got the twin magnaflows and they drone pretty much
all the time. It is much louder on the passenger side of
course, and I accept that drone to get the rich full throated
sound outta the truck.

To each his own .. I would RIDE with someone that has them ...
I heard Justin's and a fellow's here in Lexington and had to have them.

Remember, FOG'S have lost most of their hearing, so take that
into account ... They might even be louder than I am experiencing !!! ('course John may be deaf too ... j/k/ John!)

Good luck even getting it, if you order. I have been waiting over a month on mine so far, have conversed with them many times now asking about it and it has been pushed back a few times. Called yesterday after I couldn't stand waiting anymore, was told the same thing... guess I am not the only one, there are others waiting even longer than me I was told... but on the hopeful side they said they were finishing the tips and would finally be sending out soon. I hate waiting!

Which setup do you want, the twin mufflers or single muffler?

The only thing I know about the dual is that it is very loud outside when you get on it.

I have the single muffler with long tubes and high flow cats. I have no drone. At idle it's a little louder then stock, when you get on it you know it's there, all the other times it's very pleasent, IMO. And just to let you know, I'm the type of person that doesn't like loud droney exhausts on the vehicles I drive.

Cliff,

Sad to say I really don't hear out of my right ear, too much gun fire but then again that's another story...

This is good cause when the neighbor's dog starts barking at night I roll over on my left side. don't hear nothing then

Also called selective hearing

However.... Sue can hear much better than I can out of both ears and she says there is no drone. I take her word for it, if you get my drift

Get a kit that hardly drones, like the Magnaflow Catback with properly tuned muffler for the L.

you could just dynamat the interior of the truck and not worry about the noise at all?

It does work that good, but your going to spend a couple hundred bucks.
