MAKE SURE you hit the gold button under the picture that says
"OTHER ITEMS YOU MAY NEED" before you process order.

Tell them you have a 2000 F-150 and everything will fit perfect.

You want:
Clarion #020FF150LG light gray $149.99

and:

Clarion FAWCS1OE Ford to Ford Amplified Sub Harness 98 and up $9.99 Connect your new Camouflage sub to your 1998-2000 Ford factory radio with this harness.

"IT'S FREE IF YOU HIT THE ITEMS YOU NEED BUTTON"

? QUESTION ?

Is that compartment on top a pass thru for the sub (cant tell from picture it thats cloth or plastic) or is it just a solid shelf?

I know its a tiny sub, and just a cheap upgrade, but can you describe "how much" of a difference it made in your music ?

thanks!

Krix330cic(NJ),

No Pass Through, it's a shelf and a great place to put your butts.
See the black strip that goes all the way around it near the bottom, thats an open screened pass through. As far as sound, like everyone is saying, it's not like having two amp's and a set of 12" kickers behind you "BUT" it has extremly good pounding bass that can be totally adjusted to your liking. And a 100 watts of extra bass, is a 100 wattts. No distortion and I believe it's enough to keep most of us happy with the stock system. Stevie Ray and Carlos Santana Never sounded so good

Here's some other people's thoughts too

Yes...if his name is Mini-mee. Your legs need to be under 3 inches in diameter with no feet.

Yes but you would need to straddle the woofer and play footsies with everybody

Not really although my 8yr old son still wants to SQUEEZE IN THERE. That is the downside, but I had a removable floor console before anyway (and never removed it) so since it's just Me and my Son it works out for me.

After

Rob, in regards to the color of the cabinets in your first pic, mine looks like the one on the right, which is a dark grey. I only saw (2) color choices available when ordering but this "light grey" looks like a charcoal graphite color in my truck (Black 02 L).

Is the one on the left the brown?

Rob,

Any secret to removing the faceplate? What did you use for a radio key? Got my sub last week, probably put in this week. Tips are welcome.

Thanks,
Mark

Yes John,
The left is the Brown or Tan
and the Right is the Light Grey.
The brown looked like an eye saw against the L interior.
The grey is still off, but close enough to not look out of place.

This was the Brown one in My L. I used it waiting for the grey to be shipped.

I just installed mine. I'm pretty happy with the sound....it adds some nice bass that you take for granted until you unplug it...then the speakers sound like crap!

My one concern is that someone may try and steal it...especially since it is only held with zipties (for most people). It might be time to tint the windows.

The large face plate simply pulls off with a small tug. As for the
Radio, you really need the radio tool and simply insert it in the 4 holes, push outwards towards the doors and pull out.

I called Crutchfield to find out if they make an extention for the tee harness. For small guys like me, you can hide the sub woofer right behind the drivers seat without any modifications other than a couple of screws to hold it.

I'm interested on what these two jacks are for (directions dont mention it) if it's a 100watt input for two more speakers I think that will be perfect for a couple of nice speakers to fill in with.
Anyone Know what they're for ???
