I believe they are called low level inputs.

Got my replacement today...now it is the right color...looks much better...I knew that I wasn't crazy..the voices in my head told me so.

Rob, those inputs allow you to connect an aftermarket head unit to the sub.

Guys...do it sound funny having the bass hit in front of you?
I'm so used to having the bass hit me in the back. It really does sound ok?
