FastAsL,
Hey not a problem in posting what I have said, I try not to keep too many secrets. What most people do not realize is the engineering or the fabrication behind the items that I do. Yes I know that they look good ( if they did not I would not do them) but they work too. I flow test each and every item that I design. Thanks. I hope that nobody minds the added photo but what I like to do is make items for my own use. These are two items that are pure one off. The pipe as a system with a filter attached is equal to a 92 mm Pro-M air meter.

Just added a photo of the pipe installed on the Cobra.

It's not done yet and the filters real home will be in the fender well very soon.

Since this question is raised for every other mod, I've gotten used to asking...

Has anyone gotten any dyno numbers on the smooth pipes that are available?

Thanks,

-Kris

I know that this was mentioned. Here is a pick.

http://volantperformance.com/Product...9954/19954.htm

Oddly enough they post Part #19954 for a 99-01 L and #19955 for an 02. I think that it must be 99-00, and 01-02.

I found the 02 # here http://www.sporttruckdirect.com/Volant.html

Sorry if this has already been discussed but...

What happens when the motor shakes?

I figured that since the air filter is fixed and the motor moves that this is the reason the stock tube is corrugated rubber.

Has this already been accounted for on the smooth (rigid) tube systems?

I know that when I make my items they are engineered to fit too. I believe that most people or companies try to do this. An item may look fantastic but if it does not function it is worthless. Case in point was the Lightning front bumper. The vehicle was lowered and the front fascia was larger and lower too. When the vehicles came off the transport trucks most would receive damage to the front bumpers. What Ford did in the case of the elongated front fascia on the new 03 Cobras was to add a removable valance. Many of them were damaged in transit too but they were easier to replace then the repainting or replacing of the Lightning Fascia.

The cobra piece looks awesome. Question did you make that cobra cover for the front of the blower snout ? All the cobras i have seen that cover just had Vent holes in it.

Vin,
I wish that I could say that I did. It came from Classic Auto Design.
