how much horsepower can our stock fuel system support???

well when i got to different heads and kenne belle running 20 psi of boost or so is the stock fuel system gonna be able to take it. if not what do i need to do upgrade to bigger injectors???? any opinions are welcome. im hoping to eventually get 700 hp at the flywheel maybe a little more.

According to an article in MM&FF, the fuel system can support around 500 HP before having to upgrade the fuel pumps...

700hp will require a hell of alot more than just bigger injectors

However if you have the money to build a 700hp motor I dont think you should have too much trouble upgrading your fuel system

well mm and ff was 500 to the tire. if u put 575thats close to or pushing the 700 mark at the flywheel which was my question. what needs to be done to the fuel system to support that much horsepower??? i know some of you must know.

I just got my injectors back from RC Engineering and the readout said that with a BSFC of .50/80% duty cycle/ 43lbs fuel pressure the injectors flow enough fuel to support 547 hp.

If any of those 3 things change then the hp limit will change, for instance if you up the fuel pressure then the theoretical hp limit will go up or if the BSFC goes up to say .60 then the hp limit will drop.
