anyone have oct. issue of sport truck?
anyone have oct. issue of sport truck?
if so, can you scan the spy photo thats supposed to be on page 24? Here is what i heard:
It's Sport Truck page # 24 in the October issue.
These are believed to be the first photos ever published of the '04 Ford F-150! Shot form a safe (and legal) distance, there is no mistaking what this is. Referred to as P221, this revamp of the popular truck will yeild a more aggressive look. As seen through the skin-tight camouflage, the front-end styling will be a cross between the F-350 Tonka concept and the Super Duty Trucks. Performance-Wise, the engine and the transmission will be updated, with a Navistar 4.5L V-6 turbo-diesel likely added for the '05 model-year. In addition, the F-150 Lightning with a twin-supercharged DOHC 5.4L V-8 is also expected for the 2005. Expect to see the F-150 uncovered and at dealerships by early next summer. END

I like the old bodystyle better, the current f-150 bodystyle is the first truck bodystyle I have liked enough to actually purchase one. The tonka style looks good on the 250 and 350's and even the expy's but its too squared off for a shortbed pickup imo
I'm skeptical at best...about the looks!
Lokn at the 2003 Expedition, with all the cheap plastic trim, like the Cheby " Landslide" makes one wonder if the new F150 will look the same...I hope not, cuz if so, I'll be keeping the ole 2001 for a while. Heck, even the rice made trucks like the Sumboohoo Baja - is kaked in this cheap lokn plastic garb
