I dont want to put the radio controls in the back of my 2002 Expy console, so what im wondering is do any of you have any ideas what i can put there instead that will give it a better look no cutting in the console and close to factory as possible.

 

 

Depends who you have back there. If you are like me, two kids, you should just seal it up. Mine has been broken up a couple of times. Maybe you can cram a PS1 in their, or a CD holder, 9mm,

 

I would love for it to be flat panel and look like nothing was ever there but i dont know how to do that so i am trying to figure something out that i can stick in there or something. I dont want to have to hook the radio controls up but i like the cup holder.

 

If I where you, I would take the console out and sell it to Gator

 

That sounds like an outstanding idea gator why didnt i think of that?

i say you use it to store you coke, so the wife and kids dont find it, you can also keep it to hold you glock....but thats what i would do

 

You can get some styrene from a hobby shop and cut it to fit from the inside. You may even get color matched but I painted with interior paint from a local parts store and used an epoxy from the inside of the console to seal it. It looks great and folks have commented that they thought I had got a new console because the controls are no longer there.
