Unhappy Does your truck do this??

I have a 4lb pulley, Diablo, filter on a 2000 L with 15k miles. The truck runs strong and idles pretty smooth...but when I am cruising along at low rpms around 50-60 mph in overdrive I am getting a pretty noticeable miss (kinda scares me after reading all the stories about plugs being blown out, etc..). I had it with the stock plugs...which were just changed and all looked in fine shape...and I am having the problem with the TR-6's as well. I guess maybe Densos would help? But, I am a little hesitant to do another plug change and spend more $$ when even the stockers looked good.

Just wondering if you guys that have similar mods have this problem.....oh....the chip was fine-tuned on the Dyno a while back by a reputable guy in S Fl as well. Thanks for any info...

Wes

I have a 02 true blue lightning and it has that distinctive miss as well. Now take it to the dealer and try to get them to find it?. No way they claim it is my imagination.

Seems a lot of people have this problem ... I went
back to stock except for filter, and it went away ...
Dealer couldn't find anything amiss. <grin>

Since I have 8K on the plugs TR^ I am gonna replace them
(Cheapest first pass) Since I already blew 50 on the fuel fiulter ...

The mods done to mine are the chip, boost bypass, #6 pulley, bug deflector, cracked fog light mod, and badly busted windsheld mod (the windshield is part of being a canadian with all our gravel roads).

Exclamation Loose plugs!

Please check the torque on your spark plugs. The engine miss is due to bad plug to coil pack ground. Check it out...you'll see

Probably you will find plugs 2 and or 3 just about to pop out of the head

I will check that the plugs are torqued right....but I wonder if that is really the problem as the miss only comes at certain times and it happened with the stockers as well.
