Here in FL you can have tint/stickers on the top of the windshield as long as it does not go below the "AS1" line marked on the sides on the windshield.
from what I have read, VA has lots of stupid laws.

everything is illegal in virginia. i hate it here. but you know....you dont see ricers getting ticketed for stickers do you?

...and that's the way it should be. I mean unless you're in danger of being hit by a damn airplane, why should it matter if you can see through that portion of the windshield anyway.

Thats VERY similar to my first ticket I got about a month ago! A civic on my right with its left turn signal on playing games. I had to get to the right lane. I slowed down and accel'd a couple times tryin to find room to change lanes, but the a-hole kept playin games. Finally I gunned it, and what do I know. Cop got me for 72 in a 45. Well, my insurance isn't too cheap as it is. A 16 year old driving a 380hp (now much more 
) truck is quite a bill... and I couldn't even take the chance of getting points. So I decided to pay the 200$ now, instead of the possibly 150$ extra a month for the next 5 years =/.

Hey Dan_d_glassman: you're a Clemson man huh??? Good school! That is still my favorite college football team. I had a chance to play ball there on a football scholarship, but then they got my medical records and found out that I had knee surgery in HS and wouldn't pay for school. Oh, well... not their fault. Great school!

That is what My Inspecter told me when I got stuff but on my truck. VA law states no window stickers in views of mirrors (Back or side). The front isnt suppose to go below the AS1 Line.....
You prob got a jerk of a cop... Most usually dont mess with it here in Richmond.....

It was a State Cop that stopped me and I could tell that he wasn't interested in reasoning. County Cops don't usually hassle for such trivial things. They're to busy catching chicken thieves.
