Just finished this

Just came in from installing BaBolts polished throttle body. Probably no hp gains, but the truck seems to rev faster

Now it seems like traction has become a real issue on the F-1's

Also, here's a shot at the point of the 1/2 shift.
As you can see the rear end wants to move a bit

I was at whiskey for a bit, no scheduled event tonight but people showed anyway.

Gator -- I'm jealous. I still need to pick one up! I wanted to get a ProPipe first, but I havn't been able to find out if the ProM one is available from Mike.

Mr. Gator - do you notice a definite difference in throttle response?

I am not Mr. Gator (thank god ) but I noticed a huge difference in throttle response. As a matter of fact since I put on my throttle body (I also port matched my plenum) I have gotten consistant 1.7 60' times. My previous best ever was a 1.83 with the same tires etc.

Your liver wouldn't be able to handle being me

As a wise man once told me, "I rather be a good liver, than have one"
And much improved throttle response

One thing I noticed when I swapped from Ba's TB to stock and back to Ba's inside 5 days was that the return spring on BA's TB was lighter.... Significantly lighter... Meaning it is easier to push the pedal... Which may explain some of the throttle response "feels" ... But It doesnt explain the better 60 fts listed above. The important thing is most folks love them...

I didn't recieve a new return spring, Doug. I just used the old factory return spring. I have no hard numbers to back up my assertions of better throttle response.
Maybe its just when you spend money, you hope to get some speed for the money spent

EXACTLY the way it goes with any mod......It always gives a SOP benefit..... JR...my opinion only(not a flame in anyway,I always feel more speed from any mod)

I think Doug is referring to the spring that is on the TB when you buy it (on the lever).......not the one you remove to get the old TB off.
