Yes and no.....

I will be putting on the 3/4 kit, there are a few step by step install guides on the front springs that are really good. But no one goes into detail on the rear hangers that the shackle is held on by.

I will be replacing both hangers and shackles.

Ah I think you're a little confused

When they say rear hangers they mean the hangers at the end opposite of the shackles (hangers closest to the front). So say the Belltech lowering kit uses hangers and shackles to lower rear: the rear lowering consist of new shackles that replace the older shackles and new hangers which replace the front hangers that are connected directly to the leaf springs.

If you are going to replace the hangers that hold the shackles, the only replacement I know for that is Ruslow's sliders.

Anyway, I've never install hangers myself, but have seen it done and read things about it. A brief discription:
  • cut/grind off the tips of the rivets
  • punch out or drill out the rivets
  • remove hanger
  • replace with new hanger on bolt it in

I was just a little confused. That would of sucked if I did it the way I explained. Do you know of any body that has picks of the hangers installed or in the process?

Thanks for you input.

The best tip I can give is MAKE SURE YOU HAVE AIR TOOLS!!! You will need them, a air hammer is the best tool for this job!!
