Disabling the ABS

How can I safely disable the ABS? Can it be done without the dash light coming on? Can it be done through the chip? Hoping for an easy way to disable it for the track and reactivate it for the street.

As I "stutter" braked around a corner last week, I
was very much wishing for a solution also, and
will be waiting with bated breath for the answer!!

I remove the fuse closest to the engine and towards the cab. The fuses which are in the engine compartment. I hope that is the ABS fuse...

Would a basic code scanner be able to clear the code and reset the light once the ABS is reactivated? I wish they would go back to making ABS an option. I could do without it.

Talking Disabling the ABS

Silver-Bolt,

I always pull the abs fuse at the strip and have never gotten
a lite or code on my "99" Lightning. If you do just have Auto Zone reset it for you.
