I got a problem i don't know if i should go out a buy a 2002 L now
or wait for the 2003? i understand there is not much difference except for the steering wheel rims suspension 6 disk indash cd player and a few interior cosmetics. so the big question go get one now or wait.

I had the same thought 1.5 weeks ago. I walked into the dealership and could not help myself-- and ended up driving it off the showroom floor.

I didn't like the '03 rims (regaurdless that people say that "...they will grow on you like the 01/02's did..."), I will be replacing the stereo in the near future, and if the stearing whell is that good I'll simply buy it and slap it on.

As others have said, the L's hold thier value. I got mine for 28k so I didn't see any reason to wait.

Yea thats whats im starting to think i found a used 2002 in ky with only 650 mi i called and the guy quoted me at 27700 and is suspose to call me back

 

i really like the grey 03. it also sounds like there might not be an 04 model, and the next one will be a "late" year 05, so the grey and sonic blue model will be recognized as the "new model" for a couple of years. besides the steering wheel, there is also a change in the steering itself. i was able to get a 03 on order for x-plan price, so i have a while to shop for mods, and since we already have the paint color (harley), i can have some stuff ready for the arrival.
