I have seen some references to there being a new style and an older style Lower pulley by JDM can anyone enlighten me to the difference between them. And what was the need for a newer style? Was there some kind of problem with the older ones???

 

newer ones have the cage attached....

old ones use the stock pully cage.

 

so are the older ones pressed on? The newer ones are bolted on like in the pic, right????

 

The newer ones are interchangable thats what all the bolts are on there for. You pop the bolts off then you can go from your daily driver size of say a 4# to a 6# for the track. Hope that helps .
