Thumbs down hooking problem!

my buddy has a 01 lightning and just installed a 4# lower pulley and a 3# upper pulley. he already has straight pipes with x pipe, diablo chip, boost bypass, and k and n cone filter. he has 26x10.5 16 et streets and took it to the track the other night and it still spun for about 30 to 40 ft sometimes further. he tried heating them alot and also just heating them a little. he couldn't get anything to work. what size slicks does he need to hook him up.
he was running 14lbs air pressure. we also tried lowering it and raising it to. thanks any help is appreciated

Exclamation Hook up !!!

It's gonna take T-bars, a converter upgrade, and a better launch technique to solve hooking up, also about 17 or 18 lbs. in your ET's will do the trick. I've run 1.66 60ft. times with his setup, good luck, John H.
