Hey guys, just a quick question for those of you who have not added a shift kit or line valve mod or anything to quicken the shifts. How does your transmission feel during the WOT 1-2 upshift? Does it feel like it snaps into 2nd, or does it slip into 2nd? My transmission seems to do a combination of both. Sometimes it will snap immediately into 2nd gear, and other times it will slip into 2nd gear.

 

Mine also seems to shift firm sometimes and softer other times. I guess it depends on engine load, RPM, etc... but mine always shifts harder when the A/C is on.

 

You know what? I thought I was crazy for noticing that the tranny shifts harder when the A/C is on. This is the first vehicle i've owned that actually shifts harder when the A/C is on. All my other vehicles had significantly softer shifts..........

 

When you get a chip, there will no mistaking it for anything else but a SLAM into 2nd at WOT.
