They are a warranty item. They are also a poor **** design, and will crack unless you only use them on warm, sunny, but not too humid, days.

I gave up after the last time, and am calling SVT to at least vent on their crap suppliers, as the lights have been doing it since '99.

 

Ive had mine replaced twice since november. I finally gave up and picked up some PIAA 510's im going to install soon.

Cracking is caused by High heat then adding moisture. If you don't want them to crack do not use them when it is foggy or raining, then they will last forever. Well, almost!!!

 

I turned on the fog lights once when I picked up the truck, in the dealers lot, a year ago. Never used them since and mine were cracked too after a month or two so I don't think the cracks are caused by heat alone, poor materials more likely. BTW on mine the cracks run vertically.
